Mike Vogel stars as Patrick Ryan, a 17 year old orphan being raised by the only family he has left, his older brother Erik (Steve Howie Supercross, Reba). The Ryan Family money made Patrick one of the most popular, and most desired, teens in his California hometown. He had the world on a string. When Erik Ryan's job announces a change, Patrick's life is once again turned upside down as he and his brother move to the other side of the country. Tree Hill, North Caroline, will be home now. 
Kristen Bell stars as Narissa Chasez, the shy - not to mention beautiful - Julliard hopeful that catches the eye of Tree Hill's newest resident. Her sweet demeanor and kind heart quickly pulled Patrick into her world and wrapped his heart around her little finger. 
The two teens quickly find themselves falling in love, more and more every day. 
But secrets are all over Tree Hill, even between Narissa and Patrick. The secrets that Patrick is hiding could break them up forever and cause him to lose the first girl he's ever really loved.
